Thankyou for coming to learn more about this project! TheSafewordProject was founded by Bea Dux and is run solely by herself and her lovely mum, Julie.

Bea began to involve herself heavily in sex worker rights activism after the FOSTA/SESTA bills were passed in the US. Seeing the ignorance (wilful or otherwise) surrounding the subject of sex workers and sex worker rights/safety encouraged her to act. She uploaded a few (admittedly shoddy) videos to youtube, hoping to educate people who may not know much about the sex industry. From there, she decided to create a brand that people could wear and share, to create show their support for the sex industry and the workers within it.

The Safeword Project is a non-profit organisation, donating all profits to Pineapple Support (aside from re-stocking & promotion).
